Surfrider Foundation

The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. For over 25 years the Surfrider Foundation has focused its core activities and campaigns on Water Quality, Beach Access, Coastal Preservation, and Special Place Protection. Surfrider Foundation volunteers, activists and members strive to prevent further pollution of our oceans, and to restore ocean health to the baseline that existed before industrialization.

The Boys & Girls Club of San marcos

The Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos is a non-profit youth development organization consisting of a main Club facility and five extension programs. Every day, the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos strives to improve childrens' lives by fostering self-esteem, courage, and positive values through educational programs. Youth come to the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos to receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, homework help, and mentoring. More than 3,300 boys and girls currently participate in these confidence building and life affirming programs.

Fight ALD

Fight ALD is dedicated to raising awareness of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), a rare disease that affects one in 17,000 boys. ALD typically begins in early childhood, but is often misdiagnosed or goes undetected by medical professionals until the disease is so advanced that chances for treatment or survival are minimal. Fight ALD endeavors to provide education and information to the medical community so they can more effectively diagnose and treat this devastating disease. Learn more at
