Event Overview

**This event is SOLD OUT**

Our illustrious president & co-founder, Steve Wagner, is quite fond of a fine cigar with his beer. And since he's the boss, he can buck the no-smoking rule at our restaurant.

Join Steve Wagner and special guests, Patrick Rue of The Bruery & 'Dr.' Bill Sysak for an opulent evening on our garden deck to enjoy a mind-blowing feast of scrumptious food paired with amazing craft beer and superb, hand-rolled cigars.

Menu by Executive Chef Tausha Lopez | Beer pairings by Global Beer Curator Padraic "Paddy" Lenehan

Cigars:

  • “The Leaf” by Oscar

The "LEAF by Oscar” cigar is one of the hottest new cigars on the market. At our shop, we have been selling out of them on a regular basis because our regulars just love them. Each cigar is wrapped in an additional whole cigar leaf for a very unique presentation. There are four blends in the Oscar series – each called Leaf and  Bean and denoted by the wrapper (Maduro, Connecticut, Sumatra, and Corojo). The “Leaf by Oscar” uses Nicaraguan wrappers over tobaccos from Honduras and are made by master blender Oscar Valladares in Danli, Honduras. Try one and you won’t be disappointed.

  • Flor De Las Antilles Toro Maduro

My Father La Flor de las Antillas debuted in 2012. Since then, it has become an instant blockbuster in the cigar world using 100% Nicarguan binder and fillers from the Garcia family farms in Nicaragua. The Toro earned the #1 Cigar of the Year in 2012 in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25. In 2016, the Garcia family introduced the The Flor de las Antillas Maduro. The Flor de las Antillas Maduro retains the Nicaraguan tobaccos in the filler and binder, but replaces the Nicaraguan sun-grown wrapper on the regular line with an Ecuadorian Habano maduro leaf.

The cigar is made at My Father Cigars S.A. in Esteli, Nicaragua. The Flor de las Antillas Maduro is a medium to full cigar with plenty of rich leather and spice and subtle cocoa and coffee notes from the Maduro wrapper. Each vitola is box pressed.
