Stone Liberty Station Fee Tines A Mady
Event Overview

Always on the hunt for small-batch & experimental beers? We’re tapping a special creation from the brewhouse at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station, where our Brewing Manager, Kris Ketcham, conjures up a slew of unique and experimental brews. We pour through these limited-release beers until they run out, so early birds, worms: all that jazz.

Stone Liberty Station Fee Tines A Mady

Style – Imperial Buckwheat IPA

Appearance – Hazy Yellow with an off-white foam head

Aroma – Fresh Hops, Wide range of fruits, dank, floral, earthy, nutty, wet grass, and mild mint

Taste – Peach, pineapple, papaya, sweet orange, pine, hop resin, earthy and herbal

Palate – Sticky odd mouthfeel with a wonderful bitterness

Overall –  Our Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with malted buckwheat. Definitely looks like a Hazy NE Style India Pale but drinks like a west coast IPA…the way I like it. The buckwheat adds an interesting note in the beer. A barnyard like aroma that is quickly cut down by the hop aromatics. The buckwheat sticks the palate with a nutty aftertaste. Wonderful beer overall with the buckwheat adding some complexity.
