Stone Mixtape Ale vol.14 – The Gatekeeper Blend

ABV: 7.9%

A blend of 2 vintages of Stone Imperial Russian Stout, Stone IPA, Turkish Figs, Mirabelle Plums, and rare Hallertau Blanc hops.  This is a juicy and roasty Black IPA style beer.  Huge, juicy hops, roasted malt character, and dark, tart, and sweet fruit flavors abound.  Long, rich tasting finish with some raisiny dark fruit flavors.  The mid-range ABV and tropical hop notes keep this beer very refreshing.  A great beer to enjoy with food, maybe with a cheese plate, fesenjan, or a salad with fresh figs or dried cherries!
