Cellar Notes: Small Batch Brewer Cecil Menasco came up with the original idea: Age our dark and hoppy Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA in rye whiskey barrels.  This time, for edition No. 2, we added Kentucky bourbon barrels to the mix.  The result, like then, is nothing short of sublime: perfectly balanced dark chocolate, oak and citrus fruit character. Let the beer warm a bit, and the spicy rye notes and sweet bourbon nuances complete a symphony of vibrant flavors.
