Stone Brewing Co. Releases Beachwood/Heretic/Stone Unapologetic IPA

Monday, June 30, 2014

Stone Brewing Co. has built a reputation behind aggressive, hop-forward beers brimming with bold, bitter flavors. So, it's no surprise its latest collaboration with similarly hop-obsessed brewers from California's Beachwood Brewing and Heretic Brewing Company is an IPA. To those who might think another IPA from these hop fanatics is expected or passe, the trio replies, "So what!" This isn't just another IPA; the beer was crafted with Magnum and Chinook hops as well as four newly developed American-grown varieties from Washington's Yakima Valley, making it a unique standout. Starting this week, Beachwood/Heretic/Stone Unapologetic IPA is making its way to select markets nationwide and in Puerto Rico in 22-ounce bottles and on draft.

Random Happenstance Strikes Again: Stone Stochasticity Project Quadrotriticale Now Populating Across the U.S.

Monday, June 02, 2014

Stone Brewing Co. designed the Stone Stochasticity Project as a playful outlet for making diverse limited-release beers without adherence to a specific brewing schedule or strict parameters. There is little-to-no logical association between past beers in this series and the one being released today. The Stone Stochasticity Project isn't about logic. It's about being stochastic. So, beginning today, Stone Stochasticity Project Quadrotriticale, a Belgian-style quadrupel ale brewed with a modern specialty grain called triticale, is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft at select retailers nationwide.

Make Some Noise for the Newest Stone Collaboration: Kyle Hollingsworth/Keri Kelli/Stone Collective Distortion IPA

Monday, May 19, 2014

At Stone Brewing Co., craft beer and music go together as well as hops, barley, water and yeast. So when the opportunity arose to collaborate with two musicians from stylistically different backgrounds, we did the universal hand sign for "Rock on!" and bobbed our heads in perfect unison. The collaboration "band" consisted of the Stone Brew Crew, led by Brewmaster Mitch Steele (who is the guitarist of Craigsband and Stone's house band, The Flocculators); hard rock guitarist Keri Kelli (who has played with the likes of Alice Cooper, Skid Row and Slash from Guns N' Roses); and keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident. Together, they brewed an epic double IPA infused with elderberries and coriander, and named their magnificent creation Collective Distortion IPA. Fans may start enjoying the beer in 22-ounce bottles and on draft at select retailers, restaurants and bars across the U.S. this week.
