Event Overview
Always on the hunt for small-batch & experimental beers? We’re tapping a special creation from the brewhouse at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station, where our Brewing Manager, Kris Ketcham, conjures up a slew of unique and experimental brews. We pour through these limited-release beers until they run out, so early birds, worms: all that jazz.
Stone Liberty Station 4 More Hours
Style – Vanilla Almond Milk Brown Ale w/Apricots
Appearance – Dark Brown with a khaki foam head
Nose – Dried Cherry & Apricot, Toasted Nuts, Bread Crust, Mild Vanilla & Oak
Taste – Vanilla Cherry Cola Slurpee with almond milk and sweet bread
Overall – A beer we brewed for the celebration of life of Keith Johnson. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Keith I hear he would always bring in Apricots from his family’s home and was a big fan of arrogant bastard. Since Keith spent most of his days working in the kitchen I decided a culinary route would be the way to go with this beer. This beer is my take on Apricot gratin w/almond milk ice cream.
