We pour through these limited-release beers until they run out, so early birds, worms: you know the drill.

Stone Liberty Station Cimmerian Portal

• ABV - 8.4%
• Style – American Stout
• Appearance – Midnight black with auburn edges when held to a light source. Dark khaki head with good retention and massive amounts of lacing.
• Nose – Big coffee roast up front, chocolate chip cookie batter with a mild floral hop aroma.
• Taste – Nose carries over with light smoke on the finish. Very nice malt balance between heavy roast and malt sweetness. Hop profile is in the mix but not the dominant force. This batch is all about the malt!
• Palate – Medium bodied, very nice tight carbonation, roast lingers on the palate but finishes clean and dry.
• Overall – A much more crushable version than past brews with no hop bitterness to distract from the style. As already mentioned – this batch is all about the malt and it really turned out great.
