Stone Brewing Napa is turning one this year, and what better way to celebrate than with a deliciously unique creation from our Sr. Manager, Brewing & Innovation, Steve Gonzalez.  This is a very limited-release, so early birds, worms: you know the drill. 

Stone Sauce Skull Barrel aged Sour Ale w/Hibiscus, Rose Hips, Apricot, & Blackberry

  • ABV: 4.6% 
  • Harvested the hibiscus and rose hips from the Favia Winery garden in the Coombsville area of Napa!  Aromatic perfumey notes from the rose hips,, lots of sweet and sour fruit charcter on the nose.  Dry, sour taste with tons of berry, floral aromas, and sour finish.  Barrel character is very soft and does not cloy the taste of the beer.  Bright fruity sour with a very complex finish of sour lactic acid, stone fruit, intense berries, and even some tropical fruits.
