A Visit to Tijuana...The Stone Guys Visit Their Friends at Tijuana Brewing
Nothing says "cross-border good will and cooperation" better than craft beer. Cerveceria Tijuana shows their great hospitality by treating the Stone guys to a dinner replete with tasty Czech-style beers and Mexican specialty dishes.

Around the Brewery...Stone 05.05.05 Vertical Epic Ale--Why So Little Made?
Greg, Arlan, Ben & Chris answer a question emailed in from Joey D. in which he asks why the Stone 05.05.05 Vertical Epic is so scarce. Also, we missed answering part of his question on the vBlog about whether or not more was yet to be released. That answer is yes...for the same reasons mentioned in the vBlog: production constraints! In order to make as much as we did (which wasn't enough!), we had to fit in the brewing of the batches here and there and wherever (and whenever) we could...thus, some batches got brewed a little later than others. The last of it is currently at our brewery bottle conditioning and will get out the door in the next two weeks. Thanks for the question Joey!

Around the Brewery...Whiskey Barrel brews!
Chris tastes some Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine that John has just awakened from a six month slumber in a whisky barrel, as John transfers in some Stone Imperial Russian Stout for its own "whiskey barrel nap," likely not to be awakened until after we move into our new brewery later this year!

Around the Brewery...A Field Trip To Stone's Own Star Wars Line Waiter Tom
Proving that most of us here at Stone are just a bunch of geeks...and proud of it...GK & Chris visit Stone Bottling Line Crew Member Tom Modifica as he nears the end of his 6 day wait for the new Star Wars movie. Tom appears pretty happy to see the guys...considering it's 7am! [Note: The memory card filled while shooting, causing an abrupt, yet poignant end to the clip.]
