Behold our year-round releases: unique, big-character beers featuring bold flavors that defy traditional style guidelines and expectations. Except this might be what you have come to expect from us as we have strived to achieve a higher craft and full-flavor standard. Each one of these beers is an expression of what we stand for as a company and value as brewers—honesty, integrity and craftsmanship in our ingredients and brewing techniques.
We pride ourselves on brewing the beers that we like to drink and like our tastes, this is always evolving. These special releases are a reflection of our drive to branch out, break convention, and celebrate the art of brewing. Fitting to its name, we pull out special recipes for special times of the year and seek special ingredients for certain yearly releases to create odd beers for odd years.
Throughout the years, our seasonal beer releases have allowed us to highlight unique beer styles, show off innovative brewing techniques and even pay tribute to what we love about the craft beer community. Some of these were brewed once, others make celebrated annual returns. All of them a part of Stone history.
While freshness is a key component of many beers—especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs—we’ve taken it further, a lot further, in this line of devastatingly fresh IPAs. You see, not only did we brew this beer with over 10 different hops, we’ve also gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you’re getting this double IPA in your hands within an extraordinarily short window. That’s why the Enjoy By date isn’t randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the bottle, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive. Instead, we’ve sent a clear message in the name of the beer itself—further proving...
We humbly admit that we were inspired to start brewing by other fantastic breweries and homebrewers. There are a whole lot of fellow craft brewers who we respect and admire, and who we've wanted to collaborate with. So instead of dreaming about it, in 2008 we created a new series of collaboration beers that allowed us to achieve our goal of working with different breweries and having some no-regards-for-boundaries fun in the process. Therefore, many of our collaborations don’t conform to preconceived beer styles, include ridiculous amounts of decadent, unfamiliar ingredients and use...
We love any excuse to brew another great beer, and the Stone Anniversary Celebration & Invitational Beer Festival provides a great opportunity to do just that. It’s always a good time, with many of our fans coming out to enjoy great food and, of course, great beer. Each one of these commemorative ales is a special thank-you to everyone who has shadowed us on our journey. And a chance for us to explore fresh hop-driven territory. Can you imagine what Stone Brewing would be like without those bright green, lupulin-rich cones? Neither can we!
Our Mission Warehouse production facility has long been known for the incredible barrel-aged and small batch beers that they produce. Now, we’re venturing into the world of funk.
Using traditional beer production and winemaking processes, combined with the signature bold Stone style, our small batch team has created some truly mouth-watering sour creations. These extremely limited releases will evolve over time, but slowly. These beers are appropriate to drink now, and will also hold up in your cellar for years.
For years, we’ve experimented with our beers, transforming them into unique variations of our legendary recipes. These phenomenal beers had never been bottled—until very recently. This series represents the most exclusive beers we have to offer and gives you the rare chance to compare side-by-side what aging and souring a brew in a variety of wine and alcohol infused barrels can do to the original. We’re giving you fair warning now. Due to the specialness of such a series, very limited quantities are produced.
Back in 2014, we launched the Stone Berlin Groundbreaking Collaborations campaign, offering fans the chance to preorder fourteen special beers that would be created with some of the biggest names in the craft brewing industry.
The final deadline for pickups is December 12, 2019.
