Flying with beer? It's easier than you might think. Stone Brewing co-founder and Executive Chairman Greg Koch does it all the time, even on international flights. Here are his tips for transporting beer when traveling by plane and how to make your own safe & secure beer travel box.

We've also figured out some approximate weights of bottles to help give you an idea of what kind of checked baggage fees you're looking at. If you're packing 12 bottles, you should be under the 50-pound weight limit on most airlines, but your mileage may vary.
